Water bath temperature drifting
Tissue sections may appear unevenly processed or inadequately fixed. There may be discrepancies in staining intensity.
Where it usually appears: Typically observed during routine processing of paraffin-embedded tissue sections when using the water bath for floating.
- Thermostat malfunction
